They were missing a few players, but it was hardly an A-team. And it's not like we're at full-strength.



The whole league knew about that move at least two years ago. The difference back then was Pryce could feint or pass to other dangerous players - thus creating indecision in the defence. Right now the opposition know he's the ONLY dangerous player we've got in the backs. So they mark him out of the game. However, I do agree we are getting caught far too often on the last tackle.

We've got no props. Without props, we can't lay a platform for our average youngsters and over the hill older players to do anything. Still, to be top of the league with such an embarrassing team, makes you wonder how rubbish the rest of Super League must be.

We have one prop who worked his butt off as usual. However, Puletua, that great signing, struck me as ineffectual except to drop the ball, which he does at least once in every game.

We are top of the league tonight. Tomorrow, we are second.

He can be a tad lazy, which isn't what we need up front right now.

For me he's far better as an impact player or in the back row, he;s not a starting prop

This point is not a measured one.

The SL rounds during the summer are generally of a lower intensity where as it's now that the intensity of the games is building towards the play-offs, your team has been found wanting because the intensity of the games means tighter defence in and around the ruck which places the reliance more wider of the ruck where Saints simply don't have the pace to hurt teams - the players know this and their confidence is disintegrating because there is simply no substitute for pace.

The above point has been validated by your failure in the last 2 year's GF's at Old Trafford and this year I don't think you'll even get there because the final will be between Hull KR and Leeds with the Rhinos making it a hatrick (unforunately)...
