Saints are at a very delicate time with the imminent departure of Long and Cunnigham is going to take out the most important players of the past few years, and it would effect any team to remove players of their caliber.

IF Saints replace them well, then its carry on as before, question is, can Potter get Scott Moore performing like Brown has him performing?

Then again, I can see Long and KC going freeing up a massive amount of salary cap, might allow Saints to bring in a new centre and some forwards

I can't see us spending big on players with the construction of a new stadium hanging over us. But if it's a choice between a new stadium and a depleted squad for two or three seasons or a great squad and no stadium I'll take the former every time.

Super League is getting like WWE wrestling (in more ways than one.)

The ruck is absolutely ridiculous, with 6-7 seconds of wrestling sometimes elapsing between the tackle and the PTB.

And this, in turn, means that games are artificially being kept close and competitive. I get the feeling that, with the current interpretation of the rules, Dewsbury could beat Australia.

Winning games is just down to completing your sets now and, as someone who really enjoys the frantic speed and brilliant skill of our sport and used to find it so entertaining, that is just so so so sad.

I think that is down to only really picking players from 2 teams who were shattered after the playoffs, and didn't get on to say the least. We had a divided, knackered set of players. If we can pick from a bigger spread of clubs we should do better.
