I wish people would take a positive spin on our Challenge Cup exit.



Yes we are out of the cup and a phenomenal run comes to an end but there are many positives.

1) For the first time in 4 years we will have a week off just before the play-offs.
2) Being in the cup final will greatly reduce the chances of Hudds and Wire in the play-offs too. It's proven from previous years, especially when you factor in the celebrations/bounce effect after winning/losing at Wembley.
3) We have our injury crisis finally easing and a chance to regroup, and also analyse how we can be more expansive and get our attack back in order.
4)We can focus on one thing only and that is winning the three play-off matches to bring home the SL trophy where it belongs.

I still have belief and so should other fans. We are still top despite our injury crisis and disruption at halfback. Some senior players have not been firing but this should change now we are at the business end. Going out of the cup maybe the making of us as Leeds have proved before;because they haven't had a sniff of the cup in years despite winning 3 of the last 4 Grand Finals they've been in.

And I have £200 I can put towards a Fender Jazz Bass!

I will go with the positives of the cup exit though we mustn't go to KR with a hangover as I feel it is the most important game in terms of focus and effort from the remaining four. Win there and we can afford to go to Leeds reasonably content that we can lose and still finish top. The home games should be there for the taking with the crowd behind them but lose at KR and we have it all to do.

I get to go to Creamfields for the 1st time in 4 years..

Remind me what happened in 2006.

The positives for me are, that I saved £150 and avoided the hassle of the train mess.

Another is that you can go the pub or have a few cans with a few mates, sit back and watch and enjoy the game without worrying who wins or loses.

I'd gladly trade Wembley for a win at Old Trafford.

you should all look in the mirror and tell yourselves that you didnt want to go to wembley - then you can see yourselves actually talking a load of bulls~%^

of course we wanted to go, but its not the end of our world or our only real chance of a trophy

I wanted the team to go there again yes, but when it was clear they wouldnt it wasnt end of the world or a real gut wrench, it was a case of "oh well, enjoy the day shudds"... I am still going though.

That's exactly how I felt too. It was sad but not Grand-Final-loss-for-the-second-time-in-a-piddling-row sad. It had to happen some time and we've been very lucky to be the winners three times consecutively. So I suppose it was pretty darn easy to be gracious to the Hudds fans!

I won't be going to Wembers this year. I only go if Saints go. Too pricey to spend a day on the coach just to watch two teams I don't support when it's free to view at home with a nice glass of Aussie red.
