Good teams do. Every drive they aim for him (not that its hard to miss something that big) and then when wigan have the ball, hes too knackered to do anything.

Warrington just about deserved it in the end, but they mentally switch off at times and nearly always find a way to lose a game from a strong position.

Monaghan mas the MOM for me, great running and general direction of the plays from dummy half. Wigan's defence at times was dire, Paleaasina was a liability in defence at times, the last two weeks he has been appalling and teams expose him so badly in defence.

Morley was very impressive, a great hit on the 'white elephant' Fielden, and put Leulaui on his booty in the second half with a powerful run.



Should be a great final if we make it past Huddsfield, and the 'youre not famous any more' pies can watch it on the box...................AGAIN!!

Thought Wire were excellent in the first half. They blew Wigoon off the field. Disappointing to see them fold on the back of what wasn't even a great effort from Wigoon. If Wigoon had a couple more leaders on the field they'd have taken that game because they weren't even playing at their best and still came back into it without having to work too hard for it.

Wigan just needed a leader. If Lee Briers had been playing for them, they would have won comfortably.

Everyone goes on about Tomkins, but at this stage in his career he is clueless when it comes to orchestrating his team round the park. Leu Leu is a joke player who contributes nothing to them. Tomkins will struggle if he's left with that much responsibility and no backup. The Pies need a good organising scrum half.

Lee Briers would have won the MOM today without thouching the ball. You cannot compensate for experience, it's the key attribute in the halves.

You've got to be kidding. He might not be that skillful and he's not a half back either but his attitude is first rate. If Briers had has his attitude at the same age he'd have a shed full of caps by now.

But that is exactly what he is. He plays 7 for Wigan. Does he contribute positively from there? I don't think he does. Tomkins is a fine young player but he needs a clever 7 with him, a schemer and an organiser with a kicking game and he hasn't got one.

Leuleuai was absolutely shocking today.
