To put it into context you have to remember that games were low scoring in them days.... there were only two tries in the match. Murphy got the other |

But there were another two disallowed.  
Great winger though was Tommy Voll.
Billly B was a better all round player in that he could also play fullback, centre, stand off, and second row.
The greatest out and out winger had to be Brian Bevan, although he couldn't make a tackle if his life depended on it, but what a try scorer. |

Although like I said, Jack of all trades.....
clear Boston was a great all rounder, and Voll was a great wingers, neither therefore can be a better player than the other as one was a winger and one was an all rounder.
