| Does anybody know what the record is for metres gained in superleague. Its possible Graham could top 5000 metres, do you think he will achieve it.

| its very possible, he's averaging 200 a game recently, so if he keeps going he could get it within the regular season, which is just phenominal. It must be a record, unless some prolific winger like vainakolo topped it, doubt that though.

| youve put the mockers on it, he is bound to get injured now.
For the record Terry O'Connor was top metre maker in 2004 with 4100 metres
I dont think any player has otherwise topped 4k metres since opta started publishing stats

| Outstanding effort week after week from him.
I've just said on the Wire forum it's not really the metres per carry thats the impressive stat but just the amount of carries in general!
He must be taking up a couple up per set for you at the minute.

And Terry did that at Widnes, which is just an amazing effort. I think it was 2005?

| Graham is currently on 3805 metres, so just 300 metres to go.

| Heres the records since 2003 (only ones available on the SuperLeague website)
2003 - Lesley Cocacola - 3677m
2004 - Micheal Korkidas - 4084m
2005 - Terry O'Connor - 4104m
2006 - Dave Nutley - 3372m
2007 - James Roby - 3303m
2008 - Jammmer - 3774m
2009 (to date) - Jammer - 3805m
I think this shows just how much we are relying on Jammer this year in that he has already passed the totals of the winners of 4 of the last 6 seasons.

Jammer's metres per carry is a bit low compared to the like of Morley, but given his current workload, its very understandable.
Maybe when we've got Brent Kite in the red vee it'll take a bit of pressure of him.

| According to Wikipedia he was born in September 1985
and
"And once went on a night out with Mr Tattersall"
anyone know what that's all about
It also says Stanley Gene was "(allegedly born 11 May 1974 in Goroka) and show his age as 35 (unconfirmed)

Thats gotta be an error. Stanley was born in 1794 it was a typo on his birth certificate. He's been old since I started watching RL in the 90's.

A slight exaggeration methinks.
A mate of mine from Woolston Rovers remembers playing against Stanley's son on a BARLA tour to the South Seas in the late 1970's! wink: He even got his jersey which was proudly on display in the Rovers clubhouse until some carthieving chav arsonists burnt it down.
