With him still being on Saints books, commercial side, etc, do you think Potter would consider brining him in short term to cover few injury losses? I know it's good to give youth a chance but atm, seem to be running out of those lads aswell!

Would also solve kicking problem, as well as in halfs (not sure how long, Wheeler & Eastmond out for!).

Yes I would have him in. BUT we'd then have to put ALL his salary on the cap, which we probably couldn't afford to do.

Hmmm, when Radlinski played for Pies, wasn't he working there at the time? Yet played for £0.00 'officially'!

Didn't they also break the salary cap every year in those days? If it's possible and he's in reasonable shape its worth doing IMO. If he's not and if he's not been practicisng the kicking (And why would he?) then it's not worth it.

Well if he's been coaching you never know he may have been practicing the kicks, but I know what you mean, wouldn't be any harm in throwing him into a few training sessions to see how he goes etc!

Plus imagine if the few months off had got him back in full shape and he came back with a bang and stayed fit? You'd have another 2/3 years out of him, or at least someone would!

We also have trouble housing all the trophies it brought us. No point in cheating if you lose anyway is there.

I'd like to see Paul Sculthorpe return to the Sts team but only because he is a champion player who deserved to leave the game on the shoulders of his teammates rather than limping off in the hands of the physio.

If we pick up any more injuries we might need to call for his services, is he still a saints registered non contracted player.
