Has anyone any stats on Wellens kicking? Was he the kid who used to insist on having first pick at school.

Having wathced this in a hotel, I was amazed we had the quadraspaz kicking. He is utter garbage and I would have backed Berard Dwyer or Paul Forber to kick that out of retirement.

Never seen such stupidity from Saints in allowing Bostick to kick.

He's NEVER been fast enough.

Despite being as slow as a slug he was good at evading some tacklers and beating the first man by flapping his way through attempted tackles, but he's always been pretty average.

Paul Wellens was the best full back in Super League up till 2007. He was also the best full back when Radlinski was playing.
