So what!! Good learning curve for the youngsters.
As long as KC, Long, Gidley and Cayless are back for the big games then i dont really care!

| I am really looking forward to this game, and seeing what Eastmond can do at scrum half.
Should be a great game.
I think we will miss Gidley more than we'll miss Long.

| I'd go with
1. Wellens
2. Gardner
3. Flannery
4. Dean
5. Meli
6. Pryce
7. Eastmond (He is either good enough or isn't. Don't move him about)
8. Graham
9. Roby
10. Hargreaves
11. Gilmour
12. Wilkin
13. Clough
14. Wheeler
15. Puletua
16. Fa'asavalu
17. Ashurst
Dixon and Lomax to miss out. If Wilkin still isn't good to go, move Ashurst to his spot and put Dixon on the bench.

| I'd love lomax to get another shot, he was great against cas, but i can't see where. We need all the experience we can against a very good and very big wire pack. I bet its the biggest pack in SL.
For me play kyle at 7 or don't play him at all. If he doesn't play at 7 I'll be very disappointed.

Lomax can interchange with Roby at half back.

Eastmond at 7, why would he need to interchange with Roby?

| Flannery in the centre?......nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
he isnt a centre as proven every single time he has played there, waht is the fascination in everyone thinking that he is?!?!!
Wheeler has performed excellently at centre this year - if he is fit he has to play.

Flanners is solid in defence and decent going forward. He'll be solid at centre.
That leaves us to play Wheeler as an impact hooker/half back.
Ideally he would be centre but we need an impact player on the bench.

I'd feel more confident with Wilkin at half back, as i feel that Eastmond is too much like Pryce, too often he wants a ball to himself and wants to run with it, when he should be passing it. I do agree that he should run with the ball on occasions, but not nearly every time he has the ball.

Pfft, he got murked by an out of form Matt King last season, god knows what he might do to him this year when he's actually playing OK.

I just don't know where your coming from with this vision of Eastmond being tight with the ball. Interchange of passes with Lomax Gilmour in Cas game resulting in tries. Excellent pass out to Chris Dean earlier in season in very heavy traffic resulting in try Offload to Ellis at Salford. Just a few examples. Open your peepers.

I'm not saying he NEVER passes the ball, because he does, but not as much as he should do. There is loads of times that he could create a try scoring chance but doesn't let the ball go and trys to go through himself, just because he has created a few trys this season, doesn't mean he couldn't have created far more.
