I know not everyone is a betting person but many Rugby League fans are and im trying to get a rough estimate of how many people would actually use the Betting Pods to place bets. Usually many of you bet before the game but would it interest any fans if you could pop into the concourse at say 12-12 to get a bet on during the game instead of ringing up ??

We used to have 3 or 4 in the ground, only a few years ago they stopped being used. Not sure why, maybe licensing? Or the fact us scousers used to pinch all the money from them?
Personaly never used one, but I dont realy bet, wouldnt mind a pod selling pies N bitter, nowt else.

Didnt work at Saints.

I suspect its in part due to Saints fans being clued up on the betting lark and taking the bookies to the cleaners.

Certainly one of my mates was constantly winning from the one at Saints. He was most disappointed when the betting booth was closed.

Is encouraging gambling ok then for a Family Sport?
