I think Ski is pointing this article out for those who questioned his attitude, rather than saying he has a problem.

As you know I have "bigged up" Eastmond for three years. However I am hearing he has a major attitude problem, and that's from two different sources, one inside the club and one inside the game and he's not the only high profile one at Saints or at Wigan for that matter.

As long as he's performiong on the pitch and not casuing ructions then that may not matter, as long as he continues learning and improving, didn;t people like Hanley have attitude problems?

If he decides that he doesn't need to learn anymore, then he may find himself bumped out sooner than he thinks.

He may also grow up in the near future, many young people have attitude problems according to old codgers.

Let him have his attitude, he knows he has plenty of game time ahead of him, I guess if he didnt like the situation or the clubs workigns then he could go to another club where his chances of glory are more limited. The kid seems fine to me, understands his role and his place and must love turning up for work and playing with the saints men

Eastmond features in the RL press this week. I think what he says is quite illuminating. I also think I agree with him in that he is more of a Pryce than a Long. He is trying to convince that he is the man for Long's spot but I'm not sure it's working!

There's no doubt that he is a talent and we shouldn't let him go, but will he be happy playing in a position other than as Long's replacement?

I wouldn't build too many houses on what Murphy has to say. This is the man who thought Stuart Evans was the best prop in the league and David Tanner a GB cert.

The truth is that with both Wheeler and Lomax almost certainly exceeding the club's expectations viz their first-year development, Saints are in the fortunate position of not NEEDING Eastmond to succeed.

All three can fit in.
