For the terrific reception the Steve Prescott Foundation received on their walk around the pitch yesterday.

I can honestly say Steve Hampson was overwhelmed lol.

This weekend 5 lads rode from Wigan to Leeds 66 miles then joined up with the main party who rode from Leeds to Wakefield which was 15 miles. After the Wakefield Match the 15 cyclists then rode from Wakefield to the Old Golf House in Huddersfield which was 20 miles all uphill. Many a pint was "sipped" on the Evening.

Sunday Mornin 14 Cyclists then rode from Huddersfield to Saints a journey of 49 miles. Once we reached Oldham everyone got "lost" and the party was split into 4 Groups but they all managed to get to Knowsley Road for 1330.

The Challenge Cup Rides are used for training purposes for the Main Challenge so the experience was invaluable.

Many thanks once more for your reception it was much appreciated.

Only got in the ground as the lads were walking past the scoreboard end.

Nobody passed me a guinness through the bungalow window, thought that was pretty rotten of them all. Especially as I had drove all the way from Cheshire to be at the match.
