Sunday Update for you lovely people























As you can see apart from a little more tarmacing and laying some turf , the roundabout looks almost complete , well done to Birse for doing the work so quickly,

Below is a small montage ive put together showing the warehouses before and after they started work it may not look it but there are two warhouses with no roof

Has that big pile of rubble been shrinking or is it my imagination?

Grunt, i tried to do something similar to yourself when our ground was being built, unfortunately I fell away and never kept it up, I wish I had.



If you keep at it, come completion you will have a very important library of pictures, which who knows, may serve others many many years from now.

After such a long wait, it's great to see something substantial finally happening. Before we know it, the place will look like a proper building site!

At the speed they`re cracking on Mrs G will have to go down to the site every day

Not much has been knocked down this morning, they have their hands full shifting all the scrap.

The bricks and rubble is also mounting up, seems there could be another gang working inside out of sight, what with the piles of bricks you can see inside the warehouses also a couple of roofs further inside have had their roof's slashed open.

I am absolutely loving this.

I think the excitement is going to give me a heart attack(but only after the stadium is built).

Will thr rubble not be used to fill in Keirs-Lake?

You could fill carmill dam with the amount of broken bricks on that site.

A few thousand ton easy.

There is a pile of scrap metal higher than the warehouses this morning.

I would think the brick will be used as crush for the new stadium concourses etc.....

I think there's definitely a case for a live webcam to be set up by Saints. Must be a building close by who'd host it.

Have to say i think putting an uncontrolled crossing here is somewhat dodgy.

People crossing from buger king will have to cross two lanes of traffic then a further 3 lanes of traffic, in order to get on the stadium/tesco side. Remember this is a road with a 40mph speed limit and its a very busy road.

Just trying to get my bearings. In the bottom photo, is that the roundabout that has a statue of some description on it or am I way of the mark?

Speaking to Mike Appleton (Saints Media Manager) via email today and he said that a webcam for the stadium site is in progress.
