=redNot Needed. His first touch resulted in a break, an offload and the team making 80 metres. Every touch he had from that point on was productive and he worked very hard defensively. He has been superb the last few weeks, not just today.

Including the 2 knock ons and the 2 penalties away?

Maurie certainly looks better on the harder pitches now, these past 10 days he has certainly moved into another gear.

I think tony p is better at prop. When he's in 2nd row we miss his yards down the middle.

But you take away the out wide threat of him drawing defenders in.

When we have a compliment of Jammer, Bryn, Maurie and Cayless/J.Unior, it is nice to have a destructive option outwide as well as up front.

If only we had Jason Cayless fit, we would be unreal. The forwards are 100% sensational this year, only catalans forwards ( at times ) look like they could go toe to toe with us for half an hour.

Cloughie, well the kid has it all, and yet only a few weeks ago was bagged on here by a few... how dare they bag the next Andy Platt ( without the Judas touch )

Tony P, may aswell have the man of steel award end of this month, he is un real this fella...unreal... OPTA stats for cloughie, jammer and tony p must be tip top now

I'm not denying Maurie is improving, but we shouldn't let three runs be the be the marker. Overall he is better than he has been, but there are still times he looks lazy, lethargic and disinterested.

I tend to agree - I much prefer playing Tony in the back row. However, given our inability to keep Cayless fit and (with all due respect) Bryn's more modest ability, I would be using TP as a prop to help ease the load on Jammer.

I'd prefer tony as 2nd row, or hows this for outlandish thinking, swap him and gilmour, the thought of a 16/17st centre with medicore pace but mean offload and handoff ability sounds nice, he would suck in 2/3 defenders everytime and roger could stroll in! just a thought!

Just let Tony P do what Tony P does... he calls the shots.
