Unfortunately Rogues is right , NO MATCHDAY parking on the retail parks , i am pretty sure it was mentioned a long time ago maybe even during the planning application as it would have been part of the traffic survey I think , there is ample parking in the multi story car parks also , we have Bickerstaff street parking only a short walk away, and of course the bus station and railway station practically next to the stadium , so there should be no need for people to try their hand on the retail parks.

Most if not all Tesco stores offer 2 hours free parking, you should still be able to get away before your two hours are up. As Tesco control parking using Number plate recognition now so no need to even get a receipt or buy anything it would be very difficult to enforce if you didn't go over the 2 hours stay.
As for the 90 parking spaces for the stadium, that does sound a small amount for the capacity of the stadium, I would have thought you'd need more certainly taking into account spaces for disabled parking right next to the ground.

Well 90 spaces at the Stadium itself is way more than they have at KR now, and the general public isnt going to be allowed to park there , its only for staff and sponsors , soo as sgtated matchday parking will have to be multi story and street level car parks, which again is way better than parking round the streets round KR

The current Tesco in St Helens has 3 hours free parking at the moment-bet this doesn't carry through to the new one!

I thought it was 2 hours, and also i heard a rumour a few months back that they were stopping this and starting to clamp cars, not sure how true though.

You cant park on them retail parks today as they have i think 2hr time limit.

I've still not bought as I don't want to be stuck on the 10m line so decisions will ahve to be made this weekend, but when I enquired about the South Stand I was pretty much fobbed off.

The prices are on the online flyer that was emailed the other day though.

It is a great bit of marketing though, get everyone whipped up into a frenzy, sell out an entire side and an end for five years a year before the stadium is built! then on the dayers get a choice of the south stand

Is anybody else confused by the seating plan showing Peasley Cross Lane running behind the North Stand?

Surely Peasley Cross Lane runs along the east side of the site with the retail park and the railway lines to the north.

It said in one of the rugby papers today that saints have pulled in £500,000 in 7 days on season tickets.

£500k? Seriously? How many season ticket holders will we have?

I'm pretty sure that's what it said, maybe it was £50,000, not to sure now to be honest.

That mite only be less than 500 people if they have bought the 5 year deal.

I read it as £500k, however i also read it as this being the amount for those taking out 5 year season tickets, as that was what the article was about.

If so, that works out at around 500 people having signed up for 5 year season tickets within the first week of sale.

I suspect total season ticket sales are quite a bit more though, judging by how full the various seating blocks are in the north stand. Not to mention the people who have bought terrace specs.

Yup. I think it was League Express. McManus was quoted as saying Saints had earned half a million squid in seven days on the season tickets.

The club are mortgaging those advance sales to help fund the stadium. Leeds United FC and National League 2 here we come.

A nice positive to see so much cash coming in up front from supporters & the 5 year deal is great value for you whichever deal you take.
However I see a certain flaw in the cash up front price compared to the DD monthly payment. It is only around 1% per year (flat) more to pay by DD, why would fans pay 5 years money up front in one go if the DD payment is fixed at pretty much the same overall amount for the 5 year period anyhow?
Surely the cash price could be a bit less or the DD a bit higher comparatively, if the costs associated with the DD mean Saints get less money for the same 5 year ticket but on the dribble then someone isn't doing there workings out properly

I think the South stand will be a better spec but you'll probably only get the end blocks and the lowest rows of the middle blocks coming onto the market at the same or similar price as the north stand.

Just got my stuff though about the DD and its just for one year?? anyone know what the deal is with that?

Apparantly Its worded like its just a year, but It is the five year deal.

Phoned them up to query that point, its just the way they do their billing they said, its for 5 years and the price will not alter year on year.

The credit company who you are paying the 60 month DD to effectively loan you £216 (+£15 transaction charge) every year for five years to cover the cost ONE year's season ticket . Hence, you get a one year deal each year for the next five years.
