I liked the bit in the match program where McManus said "James Roby is too good to be in the Dream Team". He's a bit more than a "scoot" our James.
Dynamo Roby tries 7 Try assist 20 Tackles 1054 Metres 2980 Tackle Busts 62 Clean Breaks 10
Paddy Wack tries 2 Try Assist 1 Tackles 376 Metres 706 Tackle Busts 16 Clean Breaks 2
Oh, Oh, Oh, as the Wigan Fans call him a one trick pony

so are you trying to say your Kerion Cunningham? If so what does that change? nothing every time Roby plays against Wigan he is Ineffective every time McIlorum plays in a big game he is a stand out because he's not a one trick pony.

your right there about micky cack standing out....he either thumps someone or tackles someone after they have passed the ball....he'd be better off standing outside selling hot-dogs!

So i take it your not KC? ![Laughing icon_lol.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_lol.gif) it must hurt saints fans that McIlorum always ends up on the winning side and the better hooker in the game when he is "micky cak"

| Agree with the comment about it being too hard to tell if Saints and Wigan were very good when their opposition were so awful. Hudds and Cas were 3rd and 4th in the League, that's what's worrying.
As for Roby/McIlorum debate, Brown in his warning to McNamara about Clark said the Intl 9s should be Roby and Mic Mac. They are both great for their clubs in their different ways as both teams play the game totally different from each other.
Both suit their own club's style.

He said it should be Roby and Clark playing for England in his interview on Friday. I agree with him.

| Don't see why people argue about mickey mac vs roby or any players for that matter.
Roby is the better player IMO.
And to be honest I don't care if other fans don't rate mcilorum, because we are a good side, we win a lot of games, and more often than not in the big games mcilorum is one of our most important players.
Its irrelevant if saints fans think he's crap, as I watch him every week and see him as one of our most important players, people can think what they want, and mcilorum will keep on winning us games.
Completely agree about cas and hudds not allowing us to see a true reflection of out teams performances. I'm just praying for a saints vs wigan final, that would be great with a fantastic atmosphere.

| I don't think mm is even in the same league as robes ability wise. I'd take Roby before most hookers in world rugby league.
However, I think MM is very effective to the Wigan play in he fits into everything Wigan are about and I don't think the pies are the same team without him.
