| Quote ="Blobbynator"I don't know. I always thought the area near the screen was cordened off anyway? In 2008 we played Wigan on Good Friday and attracted a 17,500 capacity crowd. Last year we got 17,000 for Warrington, so we can clearly reach the 17,500 limit.'"
well it was definitely cordened off then so 17500 it must be now! case closed!.........?

I remember the night the wall at that end fell down. To be honest it's absolutely stupid that they are allowed to play rugby at Knowsley Road still. The away end is a death trap and certain sections of the main stand look incredibly dodgy, water logged concrete can't be too healthy.
During the Potter era I've spent a lot of time excavating the concrete around my seat for signs of Roman occupation levels or dinosaur bones. I've now freed the seat in front completely, it just flakes away like chalk. The seat I sit on is in the process of being excavated, it's coming home with me whether they like it or not.
Which reminds me, is there going to be a mass stampede for pitch turf on the final whistle of the last game? I quite fancy a goal post, but the logistics of getting it home in my 1 series could be challenging.

| Does anybody knwo what eyar the Eddington Stand end was converted from a big heap of cinders to terracing with a roof? My dad talks about going to see them when it was just a cinder heap and he probably started going just after the war.

| I'm sure the capacity can go up a thou when it's all ticket. Has anyone else heard that?
I can't really see the logic behind this but someone at the club told me this a couple of years ago. It's something to do with being able to better plan the policing or something.

Are you not getting confused with somewhere like Wigan where if it is unreserved seating, you have to take 10% off?

| I am, I admit, easily confused. But in this instance it was definitely someone at Saints who told me about two or three seasons ago.
