I think the early predictions that there are 8ish teams who could come anywhere in the top 8 is about right. This makes for a great season and I for one am loving it!

KC and Gidley will be leaving (Fozz probably too), which leaves a couple of big holes. Luckily we're well covered at hooker with Moore and Roby, but KC's experience, influence and know how will be very, very difficult to replace. We could do with signing an experienced campaigner just to help bring a few of the younger kids along. I'd be looking at a prop. Hull did well getting Fitzgibbon and O'Meley. They may not be internationals anymore, but they have tonnes of experience and quality. I'd be looking at someone like that from here or overseas.



Gidley is a class act. He scores, he creates and defensively he is superb. He is still one of the best Centres in the league, the best IMO and that quality and experience will be very difficult to replace also. I'm not sure there's anyone coming through the ranks to replace Gidley, so again we'll probably have to look at overseas.



I still think we'll be up there, because we have alot of good personnel, but I don't think we can soley rely on youth. We need to add a couple of additions to an already small squad.

IMO this is where the British game really suffers as it's caught itself in a kind of catch 22 situation where centres and wingers are concerned. So many clubs have relied upon overseas imports to fill these spots that they haven't developed those of their own and so when the overseas player leaves, they have no alternative but to look overseas, leaving the British game without players who can play at Superleague level. I include Saints in that.

Personally I would be AMAZED if Saints finish out of the top three.

Leeds and Saints are still the best two sides and if Wire finish above Saints this year then that will be a heck of an achievement for me.

I honestly think if we cope well with the current injury problems then we defo have a good chance of winning something this year.



If we have a good draw in cc then the is no reason we can't win the cc, no reason at all!



If we get to playoffs with a full strength squad then i'd say we will be in with a huge shout of another grand final. No team IMO is much better when we got full strength team.



As for 2011, if we bring in 4 GOOD players to add to the good players we have and add the young lads like lomax,wheller,moore and eastmond who will all have had full super league season under there belts, then we will be back on top.

Spot on! I've said it all last year, we can't rely soley on youth. For every 10 kids that come thru, i bet 3 at the most make the grade unless we get very lucky.



IMO lomax, wheeler and eastmond will make top class players.
