No it wasn't. That is exactly the kind of tackle which should result in a sending off. Elima was clearly leading with the elbow which smacked Lomax right in the head and at that speed will no doubt have caused at least a concussion. If only other referees would do the same thing maybe - just maybe - players would stop messing about at the head height. Elima had no business having his arm that high and in that position; it could only mean a head hit if contact was made.
