Rumour has it he lets so much go and doesn't hardly tell players off because his English isn't 100%. Would be typical of the RFL to employ a ref who can't speak English

I'll admit that I do while on the terrace during the game .... for 80 minutes every weekend I turn in to the most bigoted one-eyed idot imaginable ... usually though when I review a game on re-watching the recording if it's been on Sky (couldn't bring myself to do it with the Wigan game a few weeks ago though) I often find that I was definitely suffering from one-eyed-itis during the actual game and that the refs, most of the time, get it right.
