We defended about 30 tackles on our own line, and we covered well when the ball was swung out wide.

But the point being made is that your defence is coping with the overlaps. Look at the possible 12 points saved against us last week with last ditch efforts. Its your defence that is winning the games at the moment and you are making decent attacking plays look poor because of it.

If we was up against a class fast centre last night I don't think we would have won last night.

The overlaps was huge at times but we did cover pretty well but can't cover like that every week.

IMO are outside defence being out numberd is the reason we don't defend kicks very well and teams know this.

In the first half especially, Hock bombed a few overlaps down the Gidley/Gardner side.

It's the gidley/Gardner side which teams are looking to expose.

I'm certain it's with the 1st choice 2nd rows not playing but credit to the defence we are hanging in there and we not let in more than 3 trys in a game this year yet
