Last week he refereed Keighley v Hemel, and sinbinned two players near the end of the game for what the match report described as "handbags".
Is not a close relative of Phil Bentham, but they both come from Leigh and have the same surname, so I reckon they probably are related even if no-one knows the precise route. Andy has played for Golborne Parkside and is into martial arts which could well come in useful.
