Rochdale kept the pressure on the League 1 leaders with a 54-16 victory over ORL at Pennine Way. Bradley Hargreaves opened the scoring for Rochdale and Paul Crook added the extras before the hosts levelled things through a Lee Land try and Nathan Kitson goal. Jordan Case, Michael Ratu, Dave Hull, Danny Yates, Dale Bloomfield and Alex McClurg then crossed and Crook added three goals to put the Hornets in complete control. ORL hit back with a Danny Thomas try, converted by Kitson, but Rochdale put the game to bed with further tries from James Dandy, Matty Fozard and Bloomfield and another three Crook goals. Luke Gardiner ran in a late consolation try for ORL.
