| BA = Blue Army
SM = Sean Morris
BA = Full name and nickname if you have one ?
SM = Sean Morris, Spartan/Wolverine
BA = How long have you been in Rugby League ?
SM = 18 months
BA = Who have you played with in Rugby League ?
SM = Coming up to the end of my second season with Oxford RL. Spent a spell with Broncos in Jan 2014
BA = Do you like playing/coaching or watching ?
SM = Always prefered to play, though I'm not impartial to watching if I get the chance.
BA = What is your best moment in Rugby League ?
SM = Probably playing vs Leeds Rhinos at Headingley
BA - What is your funniest moment in Rugby League ?
SM = Any of my many moments early on where I reverted to union mode mid match. Once I ended up making a tackle jumping up jacking for the ball and thinking I'd won a turnover at the breakdown.....I'd actually given away a penalty.
BA = What do you think of Rugby League in the south ?
SM = I think there's huge scope for growth but there needs to be a clear aspirational pathway, you want good union players to switch because they see a professional future in league.
BA = Why did you become a Rugby League fan ?
MS = Way back in my early years at school, the school bus used to arrive home just before the NRL highlights were aired on sky sports.
BA = Were do you see the ORL in the next 5 year ?
SM =I'd like to see it iterated into the town, with its own training base. I think ORL could play a positive role in the aforementioned aspirational pathway, giving good union players in the area a chance to have a go at league. More importantly is getting the kids playing over summer, in order to compete in the long term, grass roots development is key.
BA = Do you think you can help raise the profile of the ORL ?
SM = The profile will raise itself given all the off field effort that goes into the club.
BA = Can you tell us 5 thinks about the Club?
SM =
BA = What would you like from the ORL Blue Army ?
SM = The support we get as players is fantastic, knowing wherever we go to play there will always be friendly faces!
BA = Is there anything you would like to say to the Club, the player and are supporter ?
SM = Being part of the club since its inception has been an awesome experience, I'm looking forward to seeing the club grow and reach its potential. The back room, the players and the supporters are all integral in making this happen.
Thank you Sean Morris for your time
