JJ. = John James Baird and nickname JJ

BA. = How long have you been in Rugby League ?
JJ. = Only a year and a half

BA. = Who have you played and coached in Rugby League ?
JJ. = I have not coached too much rugby league yet. I have played all the teams in Champ 1 along with Halifax and also played England, Wales and Scotland A in for Ireland A

BA, = Do you like playing/coaching or watching ?
JJ. = Prob prefer playing but I enjoy coaching

BA. = What is your best moment in Rugby League ?
JJ. = Beating York at the begining of this season. We really put our names on the map with that one and I scored!

BA. = What is your funniest moment in Rugby League ?
JJ. = Dont really have one to be honest but I am sure there will be plenty to come

BA. = What do you think of Rugby League in the south ?
JJ. = I think it is great that we have so much interest on and off the field in the sport. Just got to try and get the word out there and create a real following for Oxford RL.

BA. = Why did you become a Rugby League fan ?
JJ. = The intensity associated with the game. Its just so fast and the hits just keep coming. I really admire the following and the love that the fans show towards their teams.

BA. = How did you become the ORL coach ?
JJ. = I am not the Oxford RL coach only a player and I work for them in the office on day to day operations.

BA. = What is it like working for the ORL ?
JJ. = It is a great place to work. The board have a fantastic wealth of knowledge and I am constantly learning.

BA. = Where do you see the ORL in the next 5 year ?
JJ. = I personally would like to see us competing at the top of whatever league we are in. I would like to see a host of youth teams also taking part in the sport of rugby league.

BA. = Do you think you can help raise the profile of the ORL ?.
JJ. = Yea definately. The most of Oxford dont even know we exist so getting the word out and pushing the sport and club will help us massively

BA. = Can you tell us 5 things about the Club?
JJ. = Great Club Environment, Fantastic Fans, Great Coaching, Plenty of Opportunities, Drive and ability to go far

BA. = What would you like from the ORL Blue Army?
JJ. = To be honest I cant ask for much more. Their support to date has been second to none regardless of the results. As I have said we have had a great amount of support and I know the players really appreciate it. I would love to see you all at the game this Sunday and meet you for a beer after the game.

BA. = Is there anything you would like to say to the Club, the player and are supporter ?
JJ. = I would like to thank the club for the opportunity it has given me to play rugby league for Oxford. To the players lets all get the finger out and get the W this Sunday and fans keep up the support and I will see you Sunday after the game.
