Sean Morris scored two tries as Oxford condemned York City Knights to their first Kingstone Press Championship 1 defeat of the season with a 24-16 victory at Huntington Stadium. After Jack Illey went over in the 20th minute, Oxford responded through Morris and John James Baird, with Jimmy Rowland tagging on the extras, before Ben Reynolds' converted try levelled things up at half-time. Morris' second, converted again by Rowland, and Callum Mulkeen's 54th-minute score moved the visitors 20-10 ahead. Despite Reynolds converting Jack Lee's try for York, Rowland went over himself a minute from time to secure Oxford's second win of the campaign.
