I always do now my Mum and Dad no longer go. Just waiting for my little girl to grow up to be indoctrinated.

In the days when I could I regularly went to the games alone, home and away. Not an issue, usually someone to chat to or banter with.

I'll be going alone tonight. I've been home and away by myself.

As someone who works away a lot I'm now used to going solo. Pubs, restaurants, games etc... Always someone to talk to. You get used to it and its amazing how many others do the same.

Thanks for the kind offers. Took the easy option and watched with a mate on end of my street! Really enjoyed the game and could have gone either way….

I do it as often as I can and it's normally around a 2 - 2.5 hour (depending on traffic), trip down from the outskirts of Newcastle.

No such luck. I have to go with the missus and kids unfortunately.

I go to every home and away game on my own, I prefer it. I have a pretty stressful work life and for that few hours a week it’s ‘my time’ and only time I can properly switch off from work
