Given our current hooker predicament so would Robbie Ward, Liam Hood and Paul McShane but none were in McD's 'inner trusted circle'

Robbie Ward was offered back to Leeds before joining Featherstone. The club never got back in touch with his agent.

I said three weeks back, with Leeds dire need for a good hooker, that I would ask Warrington if we could have on loan to get over his injury and rehabilitate with us. I am not one for loans, but thought that was a perfect fit. We once again just wait, and this lad last night showed his capabilities,

I doubt clubs will be queueing up to help us with loan signings. They will enjoying us being where we are.

This was never going to happen anyway. Dwyer has become a very classy hooker and there's no drop in intensity when he and Clarke interchange. He must be pushing for an England squad place.

McShane is a proper player. I was more than happy with the Aiton deal. Dont get me wrong Aiton is a decent player (if he is ever fit) but McShane is consistent and consistent at a high standard. He gave 100% every match when in a crap team that had a losing mentality at Wakefield. If McShane was with you now he wouldnt solve all of your problems but he would deffinately help you paper over the cracks by getting you some wins. Falloon - oh dear......cut your losses and get him out of Headingley #shocker
