| With Sir Kev approaching his 500th game tonight what has been your favorite moment?
For me it would have to be Kevins epic tackle on Kyle Eastmond in the 2009 Grand Final. It was a try saver right in the corner. If Kev wasn't playing that dat Saint might just had won.

| Without too much thought his touchline conversion in the 2003 Semi Final.
There have been so many, tough to pin down.

This one.
I wonder if Kevin will play on as long as JP or Kylie?if he does and stays fit and keeps his place he won't be too far off John holmes record

| Agree with G1 and BT.
I also think last years GF summed him up perfectly kneed in the nadgers ,sparked out by a flying headbutt from a cheating thieving Koala bummer and still lead us to victory over ANOTHER team who went in as firm favourites.

| As most will be about GF's and Playoffs I'll mention one regular season moment.
At home to Warrington in 2009, losing by 4 points with seconds left Scott Donald goes in at the corner. With the scores now level Sinfield, who'd had a bad night with the boot stepped up and slotted the conversion right through the middle from over on the SouthStand touchline. As he ran back to the Leeds half the hooter sounded and Leeds had won by 2 points, happy days.

Long way to go before he can even think about catching John Holmes...he is on 500 career games - not Leeds appearances only.
Tonight was his 457th Leeds game, so still stands 168 games behind John (625). He'd have to play another 4-5 seasons, virtually ever present, to stand a chance.
To answer the original question, I'd say his performance at OT last season, getting off the canvas twice etc and go on to win the Harry Sunderland award and GF yet again.
....and Mr Eve... can't you just let ONE go and actually give the man some credit??

| 2003 semi final conversion is up there, as are his Grand Final performances.
If I had to pick a single moment, it would be after his conversion of Danny Mags' try in the 2004 GF. The camera goes for a close up on him as runs back to await the kick off, and you can just see a hint of a smile on his face. He knew we'd done it.

Quality cartwheel, however Tansey was not offside, he was quite clearly in a onside position!

| It has to be the semi final in 2003, his kicking was just amazing, I will never forget how he slotted the last minute kick to draw us level. Mind you the drop goal against wigan in 2012 play off semi, or the pen in the last minute against Warrington the year before. There are are so many, I will not be till after he has retired will we really realise how good a player Sir Kev is, on a par with anybody who has worn blue and amber

Yup.
We were in-line right behind him taking that kick.
Cool? ... he was glacial.

| In a career that has displayed both the longevity and consistency that Kevin's has it is hard to identify one or two individual moments. His career as a whole will go down in history as one of, if not the, finest in Leeds' existence.
It's hard to look past that kick in 2003 as a moment which made him a hero in many Leeds fans eyes. People forget that he wasn't too highly regarded amongst all our fans until probably 2005, his best season IMO in Leeds colours.
The Grand Final speeches have been memorable, although by far the best performance I have seen from him in a Leeds shirt was the Wigan play off game last year. He was absolutely outstanding and without him there is no way we win that game.
It will be an incredibly sad day when the great man decides to hang them up.

It was sweet to see him do wigan last year and lets not forget the CC semifinal when he bombed young Sam.Reading his recent statement about his future he is hoping to play on for a while yet
