Anybody in the Original Oak last night around 1900hrs,unfortunatley one lad collapsed with a suspected fit.
My daughter was at the bar and was in a disstressed state as she could see what was happening as the bloke in question was being addministerd CPR and looked in a bad way.....Does anybody know iff the lad pulled through.

Was a 64yr old bloke.....a suspected heart attack.....not sure of end result......

My wife got a text from her friend, it was her husband and he is in a bad way. My daughter and I saw the police cars and ambulance outside the pub. He needs as many people rooting for him as possible. Our thoughts are with you Gordon.

Dont know the guy obviously but as a survivor of 2 heart attacks myself i know from experience what a horrid time it will be for everyone concerned, hope it works out well for the guy and he pulls through !

Just a quick update for those who were in the Original Oak at the time.Gordon is doing OK, he has come round a bit but is now sedated . It could have been a lot worse but for the prompt action of his workmates administering cpr, and the doctors are pleased with his progress. Still a long way to go but fingers are crossed.

Does anybody know if there is a defibrillator permanently located at Headingley?
I believe that following the Fabrice Muamba case all football grounds now have such equipment & I wondered if the same applies to RL stadia?

I know the physio team have one with them so there should be one there on gamedays but whether there is one permanently at Headingley I'm not sure.
