Hero or villain?

He's been an excellent servant for Leeds but in all honesty he's becoming more and more of a liability.

He'll always be a hero overall FB no doubts at all but like you say he's certainly adding to our woes at the moment with his 3/4 brain farts to every decent pass and even now he can't help himself and keep schtum.

I agree Mark, I have some very fond memories of Webb but I just hope they don't get too tainted by his current performances.

Yep i agree i much rather a player leave 6/12 mths too early than stay 1 or 2 years too long.
I will say however i don't think it will get much worse because we expect pastings against good teams now and he leaves at the end of the year so 99% positive for me.

He's been teetering on the edge of uncontrollable his whole career, probably what's helped make him the great player he has been. I think the knowledge that he's leaving has cut the final string holding him in check. Maybe if he was staying things would be different, maybe if he had competition for FB? Difficult to say though. It's frustrating because if he could get a handle on the disclipline (and in that I mean control his whole game better) he'd still be a hell of a player. Too late now though.
