Hull FC have moved to clear up some confusion around the pricing for away supporters this season.

Away fans travelling to the KC Stadium will receive tickets for the North Stand for £23 if bought in advance from their club ticket office.

This priority purchase will last until the week of the game when prices increase to £25 for purchasing tickets on the gate.

I think someone mentioned on here the other day it wont be long before football style pricing comes into place.

For example category games.

That list probably makes the Broncos the first Super League team to have adult tickets costing less than the price of a pint in a local pub....

That's a big price to endure a few hours in Hull.

Here's hoping our away games in Hull continue to be televised.

A lot of money to get beer thrown at us, spat at and for 15-16 year old youngsters to swear and give us death threats.

Or from an FC fans point of view going to headingley.

£20 to stand in an uncovered terrace usually get soaked and then told by locals that " you should be used to this weather cos you live near the sea" even though hull is miles from the sea

I don’t mind going to Hull, it acts as a reminder to however bad your life is, however low you’re feeling, at lease you don’t live in Hull.

Saying that if the above prices are accurate then the entry price for the KC, on a percentage scale, is considerable more than any other club in the league. I’m guessing it’s to cover the entertainment that we are always provided with!

Which ought (together with the fact that you've just described almost every away-day experience you can have in Super League) to serve as due warning to people on here (and every other forum) that when it comes to criticising other clubs' fans, those without sin should cast the first stone.

Not many stones would be cast.

Except maybe by London, who don't have any fans.... (kidding).

In relation to beer throwing, at Headingley it is probably a more attractive proposition than drinking the stuff...

That was my point mate every club has a small minority of idiots. that shouldn't stop you following your team.

As an FC fan what do you think to the prices for away supporters?

Personally I won't be going to the FC this year which is a shame because I do enjoy going. Money is tight and I'd rather go to the new grounds this year!

If you buy in advance it's £23 which was the same as the last season and if you buy in advance from your club they get a cut of that too.

Our new owner wants to get the fc fans who became disillusioned with the club under the previous owners back hence this discount in the south stand.

Why are you complaining? Sounds like a home from home to me!

Seen the odd away fan in there in the past but never a group. I cant see why you wouldn't be allowed in.

Sign up and become a mature student part time at your local college and get in for £12 in stead of double that!

And yet I expect most people in Hull know the difference between 'formally' and 'formerly', thicko.

I expect that most people in Hull can't read with it having the lowest A* to C GCSE grades in the country.

And save on a season ticket. I've done that, was faced with £200 or £130 for the season ticket. £11 NUS card, saving £60. No brainer.

I don't know to what extent the stadium management company dictate admission costs but it does highlight the danger of being a tenant in a building rather than an owner (although acknowledging that the situation at Hull is not at all like the tenant situation at Wigan for instance).

Ultimately its supply and demand, you vote with your feet in hard times and if away following declines this season at Hull then we all know exactly why, its then up to the club and/or SMC to change things or take a stance on revenue grounds.
