Elland Road is unavailable, so the only realistic alternative to Headingley would have been the Galpharm. Seems a bit daft asking 15k of Leeds fans to trek over to Huddersfield when there's a perfectly serviceable stadium already in the city.

Mixed feelings about this really.

Obviously it gives us the best possible chance of winning it, but it won't seem like a special game. That's also not to mention that I'll have to be in the Southstand about 90 minutes before kick off to get somewhere decent to stand!

Do we think we'd get fewer than 20k fans if we wnet to the Galpharm? If so, then it sums up some of the problems with our game when even our own fans can't be bothered to travel 20 miles for a game. No wonder we struggle with expansion

and tickets are going on sale tomorrow to 2012 season ticket holders. Got to give it to Hetherington he's pretty smart when it comes to getting money out of us.

Headingley was the obvious choice with it's state of the art facilities, modern stands and massive capacity.

I bet the RFL will get a hefty bill for hiring the stadium

At least GH has helped negate the reduced capacity issue by increasing the ticket prices (above standard SL2012 prices by £2) after 5/12/11

I'd have actually being more inclined to attend if it was in Sydney....and combined it with a nice holiday.

It would be quite a thrill and occassion to see Leeds playing down under.

Personally, it will be great and get the South Stand choc-a-block for the game. Previously the Southstanders have been spread all over Elland Road, but this time they'll all be in their normal places in their own stand.

Let's hope we're up for giving Manly a hard time !

Will be fantastic to have the Southstand packed! The boys from Manly wont know what hits them... May even encourage a few more Aussies to consider the move to the Super League... Should we want them...

Now we are having to cope with the corners again this year, GH should invest in proper banners to cover them up.. Advertisements or Leeds Rhinos logos... at least it will make the southstand look food and not just like an empty space.

What about the pitch that will be in the wonderful state that it tends to be in February? Manly will 100% mention the heavy pitch in the result of a loss, I doubt they will be granted a training session on it also.
