| Surprised at some of those high tackling counts, did not give some the credit they deserve.
Did think Delaney and Ablett put in a huge shift in the centres though, and that comes out in the stats.
Hall was absolutely shocking defensively on Friday. To miss a tackle you have to obviously attempt, so those stats do not include the number of times, he fired out of the line inside, and left it wide open for the winger to receive the ball. I also didn't think he was that strong in the collission, which comes out in the stats.

Wingers have to defend off their centres - if the centre goes up and in to try and stop the ball getting outside him, the winger has to follow suit. Otherwise he's just going to leave a yawning gap on his inside shoulder.
Don't fall in the Stevo trap of assuming that every time a winger is ten yards infield and gets beaten by quick ball movement that he's "out of position".

| 7 tackles in 25 minutes unacceptable from a (nominal) hooker, and part explains why we were rolled over so easily after Buderus went off.
Also, can people shut up about Pitts being a current option for the first team?

| Not sure whether Pitts has a long term future Leeds unless the coaching staff can decide what his role within the team is. He seems best suited to being an wide running second rower, but at the moment he seems to be moved around a bit too much. His defense also needs a lot of work.
Bailey's stats are nowhere near as bad as some people expected I'm sure.

I was trying to point out a failing of formation and substitutions and therefore coaching, rather than having a go at Burrow for not being able to defend like a forward.

Of course it does.
We'd have beaten Wire by 40 points had Buderus been able to manage 80 mins.

More like, no-where near as bad as some were hoping.
But watching the game, those of a right mind, could see a more rounded view of his performance. Not his greatest game, not his worst game, he put himself about added some zest to the pack. In a team that was well beaten on the night.
