I wonder how it stacks up financially for Calderwood having made the move with the benefit of hindsight. Obviously, he will have to weigh up how much more he's earned in his 5 seasons away from Leeds with what he might've earned at Leeds in terms of salary and a testimonial.

Not to mention how his career progression (and therefore earnings) might've gone had he played a part in those 2007,8 and 9 squads. Obviously we, and he, will never know but from a Leeds point of view it's just a shame he wasn't around to enjoy the successes many of his peers at the club have enjoyed these last few years.

Was pretty peeved when Calders left, but in hindsight i can admit that i was wrong and was just worried that the champions of 04 team were breaking up. Shame for Calders playing under a coach that never utilised his strengths and seemed to not want him in the team. Nobby ruined him IMO.

I always felt when Calders left it was going to bite on the aris more than us. Shame, someone should have got hold of him at the time.
