There was no sign of a second rate performance from Leeds yesterday, you were played off the park by a better team on the day. Fact.

You were better than us for sure, but don't kid yourself that we weren't under par, because we were. As good as you were, if we were on our game, we had it in us to win.

Even back in 1996 (my first season) they seemed to play with some sort of effort, I can forgive a poor performance, i can not forgive a lack of effort! How many times did you see a forward actually run in hard with the ball, how many times did we have a good passing move, we turned up for most of the game played one up football and yet we are all ment to clap there and say well done, if you went to a show and a performer forgot most of his script and was bumbling around for most of it would you whole heartly applaud them off at the end?

Part of staying is maybe for the effort of getting there, in previous rounds ? They have made a monumental effort to get there.

Throw some names out who you don't think put much effort in.

Conceding six penalties and knocking on six times with one forward pass and one loose offload suggested a more controlled performance than is usual from Leeds this season.

Unfortunately they were below par in lots of other areas. Failure to score when it was harder not to, last tackle plays, kicking game, the number of times Sinfield was driving the ball in on the 5th. Lauitiiti's non-selection in favour of Kirke and Ablett, especially Ablett.

Whilst full credit should be given to Warrington, the idea that they were somehow 'unstoppable' is a nonsense. The only genuinely close to unstoppable British team I've seen was Wigan in its heyday when they really wanted to win. No other side before or since has been unbeatable.

What cannot and shouldn't be hidden is just how poor Leeds were on the day. Quite frankly at times they looked like a rabble.
