Wonder wether Jack has signed for Hull FC for next season?

If he hasn't then you'd have to wonder whether it'll happen. Must be some uncertainty over hodgsons tenure with all the turmoil that that entails. Plus, if he is injured, that only lengthens the odds on his move becoming permanent.

Terrible news for him. I'd be very surprised if Hull have signed him at this point. Surely they would have wanted to see evidence that he could put a string of games together. They've also signed an NRL full back in Hoy.

Well on current interpretations both are right, but the parcell one was nothing and we have been hit with bans similar, but the knees in the tackle should have been an 8 point try

In the lead up to Gannon's try where he picked the ball off the ground Austin bumps into the KR player who dropped the ball to keep him out of the play. The contact is more deliberate than Martin's the previous week. It also lacks force but the only difference is the KR player doesn't fall over as a result of the contact. Hopefully the derision over the Martin ban has some effect. Neither was worth a penalty let alone a ban.

The Austin won, the opposition player was still kind of juggling with the ball, and Austin pushes him just as it starts to fall away from him, and Austin commuted cannot just stop, its all split second stuff, and a push is not illegal on the ball carrier, Austins perfectly allowed to do that. But i thought they might pull him for it, but as you say maybe the Martin ban which no one in the game accept the MRP thought was worthy of a penalty or a ban.

The mrp cant do this year on year, 13 players banned again this week. They think it'll serve as a warning and clean the game up but it won't, most of these 'incidents' are inevitable due to the nature of the game and the expectations to compete at the highest level.

That will kill the game in this country if it continues in the future seasons, something needs to be done.

Assuming Corey Norman gets 8 matches for his grade F, it will be a total of 25 match bans across 13 players from a single round of super league

Though also makes you wonder how Holroyd got more than an incident that amounts to an act of rape.

No indication as to the severity of Harrys hamstring injury just that it's not the same injury as before but it also sounds like an opp won't be needed.

Have to wait and see. Eight games is the minimum for a grade f. Could be considerably longer than that.

Holroyd injured in training a week before his 10 match ban was up. Has had an operation on elbow. Back for next season.

Jeez. The lad hasn't has much luck but he seems to be picking up injuries all the time. Zero appearances this season. Be brave to rely on him too much until he's proved he can stay fit for more than 5 minutes.

We simply cannot class him as one of our main 4 props at the moment, not until he proves he can string a long run of games together which hasn’t happened since his academy days . So many operations and long term injuries these last 4 years or so.
Shame for him as he has all the potential in the world…but potential always sat in the stands is no use to us.

You'd have to say that given form and experience elsewhere in the squad he is probably prop 5 next year. He needs a great pre-season and a really positive start to 2023. He does have real potential but there are now lots of young props across the league who have accumulated far more games than Tom.

Holroyd 14 games in 4 years is not a record that is sustainable in the long term if he is going to be one of our 4 starting props.
Oledski has played 70 games in the same period of time!
I know its a different game nowadays and much faster but we never seemed to get this many injuries when players used to knock 10 bells out of each other and then go on the drink Sunday night and Monday afternoon. Bizarre!
