__________
This week marks Leeds' 400th Regular Round fixture of the SL Era. Coincidentally should he play Danny McGuire will have played in exactly half of them.

1 - Kevin Sinfield 292
2 - Keith Senior 281
3 - Rob Burrow 237
4 - Barrie McDermott 219
5 - Francis Cummins 217
6 - Matt Diskin 208
7 - Danny McGuire 199

| Jones-Buchanan and Ryan Bailey are the next two inline on 188 and 180 respectfully although they'll obviously have to wait for 2011 now (injuries, form and not reneging on contracts ) to join.

Just swap his name with Tony Yeboahs from the old LUFC song. Look it up on that well known prohibited video sharing site if you need to.

Think they are.
Sure it was mentioned on Sky that McGuire had overtaken Vainikolo to go second.

The top career try-scoring list for the Leeds club looks something like this:
1 - Eric Harris 391
2 - John Atkinson 340
3 - Alan Smith 283
4 - Drew Turnbull 228
5 - Les Dyl 193
6 - Francis Cummins 188
=7 - Danny McGuire 187
=7 - Stan Smith 187
9 - Keith Senior 167
10 - Syd Hynes 158
11 - John Holmes 154
12 - Garry Schofield 147
13 - Lewis Jones 144
14 - Dinny Campbell 136
15 - Rob Burrow 128
(What a magnificent back division that was during the late sixties and early seventies able to call on the services of Holmes, Smith, Hynes, Dyl and Atkinson.)
__________
As a matter of interest Danny McGuire has now gone 2 points ahead of Garry Schofield in terms of total points scored for the club on 750. That puts him around 17th on the Leeds all time list.
I say around as I'm cobbling together two areas of reference to reach the figures on these.
__________
Kevin Sinfield needs 2 points to bring up 2,500 for the club as he continues to hunt down Lewis Jones' all time Leeds record points haul of 2,920.

| Tomorrow will mark Coach McClennan's 100th 1st grade game in charge of Leeds. In doing so he'll become only the second Leeds coach to reach three figures in the SL Era.
His record so far:
Played 99, Won 71, Drawn 1, Lost 27, Pts For 2856, Pts Agst 1789, Avg Scr 29-18, 72%
In percentage terms that places him behind Graham Murray (75%) and Tony Smith (74%) but ahead of Daryl Powell (64%), Dean Lance (63%) and Dean Bell (47%)
Against the SL sides Coach McClennan remains undefeated V just the one opponent - Hull
Played 6, Won 6, Drawn 0, Lost 0, Pts For 251, Pts Agst 126, Avg Scr 42-21, 100%
__________
If Carl Ablett plays he will be making his 100th Appearance for the club and become the 31st player to do so in the SL Era.
If Lee Smith plays he will be making his 100th SL Regular Round Appearance for the club and become the 24th player to do so.
And finally Ryan Hall needs one try to bring up 300 points and become the 12th Leeds player to do so in the SL Era.

Well you could use this: www.therhinos.co.uk/compare.php? ... 0001=81280 which could be his SL RR+PO record (judging by the try total - excluding CC and WCC) but then the appearance figure is out and the wins/draw/loss doesn't = the total played that it is claiming...... although it does total his correct figure in those comps, which is weird.
Or there is this:
Ryan Hall's Leeds career:
2007 - Played 8+1, Tries 3, Points 12
2008 - Played 15+1, Tries 9, Points 36
2009 - Played 31, Tries 32, Points 128
2010 - Played 30, Tries 30, Points 120
Total - Played 84+2, Tries 74, Points 296
Split by Competition:
SL - Regular Rounds - Played 69+2, Tries 62, Points 248
SL Play-Offs - Played 4, Tries 4, Points 16
Challenge Cup - Played 9, Tries 7, Points 28
World Club Challenge - Played 2, Tries 1, Points 4
Total - Played 84+2, Tries 74, Points 296

McLaren Field tells some wonderful anecdotes about watching Dinny Campbell from the terraces at Headingley.

| Ah yes, McLaren must be even older than he looks.
Dinny Campbell (although much before my time) was Leeds' first ever overseas signing and stayed for 9 seasons (Ali Lauitiiti - longest serving overseas player for Leeds - Pah, who would claim such a thing.) 258 appearances and the scorer of one of the greatest tries ever witnessed at Headingley (according the 100 Leeds' Greats book) when he beat the entire Wigan team on a 75 yard run to the line. As a fellow centre I wonder if such tales will inspire Delaney to do likewise next Sunday.

The timing was deliberate to not only form a great back division for the club but one capable of doing likewise for Great Britain. Add to that my favourite ever Leeds player in Mick Shoebottom and Barry Seabourne in the halves and it was our equivalent of the great Parramatta back division of the early eighties. Grothe, Cronin, Ella, Hunt, Kenny and Sterling.

| Can't argue with that assessment about our greatest ever backline (certainly homegrown as opposed to imports).
Have to say McGuire's position is all the more praiseworthy as he's the only non-threequarter in the top 10. Bar injury he'll pass Les Dyl early next year (possible even this year I suppose) and may well move up to 4th past Turnbull before he's done.

| I'm never sure which games are included and excluded in the SL records found dotted around the internet and the ones that I see are rarely maintained up to date either but it would be interesting to see the totals for the likes of Andy Farrell, Paul Deacon, Lee Briers, Sean Long and Kevin Sinfield to see how they compare these days.
Here's a little gem I've noted for Sinfield though. His next successful conversion or penalty will be his 1,000 two pointer in the SL Regular Rounds + SL Play-Offs.
SL Regular Rounds - 936
SL Play-Offs - 63
__________
The next SL Play-Off Try will be Leeds' 100th
The next SL Play-Off Goal will also be Leeds' 100th

Played 499, Won 333, Drawn 10, Lost 156, Pts For 14745, Pts Agst 10060, Avg Scr (30-20), 68%
__________
Ben Jones-Bishop's next appearance will be his 10th for Leeds at 1st Grade level, presumably earning him the next unique number issued by the club, 727 (?)
Incidentally this could be the third consecutive season that a Leeds player makes his qualifying appearance at the Halliwell Jones following on from Kallum Watkins (719) in 2009 and Jay Pitts (723) in 2010. Lee Smith also earned his number (703) at the same venue, this time in 2005.

| Should Rob Burrow play today it will be his 300th 1st grade Appearance for the club, becoming only the third player to do so for Leeds during the SL Era.
Kevin Sinfield - 368
Keith Senior - 354
Rob Burrow - 299
_____________
At the same time Kevin Sinfield (should he play) will be making his 300th SL Regular Round Appearance for the club and will become the first Leeds player to do so.
Kevin Sinfield - 299
Keith Senior - 288
Rob Burrow - 244
__________
Last week (V Salford) Leeds became the 1st club during the SL Era to record 100 consecutive five figure crowds for the SL Regular Round fixtures.
The last time it dipped below was when 8,231 attended the Leeds V London Broncos game on the 25th July 2003.
(That was the only occasion in the last 114 home SL Regular Round fixtures that the five figure standard was missed at Headingley. That run of fixtures started on the 10th August 2002.)
