| you think allerdyce and kinnear sent leeds down?
stick to rugby david, you talk sense on that.making yourself look silly with comments like that.
only last week you blamed orta for taking leeds down. make your mind up.
kinnear is chief exec. he makes sure the non football side is run correctly. he has done that.
allerdyce had 4 games. he is not the man to blame.

The idea of changing the coach with 4 games to go was bonkers - no doubt Kinnear had an input into that - without that connection Allardyce is not at Leeds?
Allardyce has made zero impact and the idea that he has by dropping the likes of Messlier doesn't stack up. He still picked Ayling who was where yesterday? I am not blaming him but it was a poor decision to engage him. You need goals - you have a young striker who has perform in a top European league, both your strikers are injured, what is to lose? Allardyce is a dinasour.
Yes Orta must take much of the blame but fans wanting Bielsa out - the team have won 11 games since he left. Marsch was another poor appointment but what were the options?

| bielsa made an absolute pigs ear in the end. tiny squad, favourites who wernt good enough and running the legs off them. I'd have sacked him before he went.
marsch was a bad choice. ortas doing.
who would you gave selected instead of ayling? Sam was left with a squad where some weren't good enough and a lot knew they were going. summerville, gnonto have made it clear with their performances they don't want to be here.
it needs a good clear out and a lot of fresh faces. the club is on a good financial footing, every game next year is a sell out. the choice of manager is absolutely crucial.

| Big Sam should not be blamed, he came when the ship was virtually sank, Gracias Leeds would have conceded 8 against Man City and would have lost to Newcastle, he has done as well as he could have in a short period.
This all boils down to not spending the money in the summer after finishing ninth. We needed to invest heavily to ensue we survived, we didnt, Jesse came in and we invested poorly.

Bielsa would have learned and moved on - at least the players could keep going for 90 minutes - these lads can even do 45 minutes. How many injuries do Leeds have now? Small squad was always Orta's view backed up bringing the youngsters on. Not being in Europe and one gane a week do you really need a squad of 25 plus the juniors.
Ayling is 100% committed but he is out of his depth in today's PL - he is too slow both physically and mentally, he cannot read the game and the opposition know it. To replace him would depend on the formation - a back three Kristensen plays on the right - not great but better.
Corberan would be a good fit for me. Knows the club, knows the league. I agree clear out and line in sand needed. Some faith in the youngsters

Hopefully, we can at least get the ownership sorted before the Spurs game.

Correct. Then when we did finally invest it was done badly between Orta and Marsch plus very poor coaching, the players are unfit. Apparently both Gracia and Sam were alarmed when they took over at fitness levels. All the great possession and passing skills the players learnt under Bielsa were thrown away by Marsch, he did some real damage coaching wise.

Im all for putting a stamp on teams but infrastructure at TA was ditched because Jesse knew best - We used to be THE fittest team in the league and were still running and battling well into 80 mins in a game usually longer because of those now legendary murderball sessions & double training this was all ditched and this is the inevitable outcome, unfit, uninterested mercenaries strolling around.
Lets face it, they struck gold with Bielsa, his hard work and nouse took a bunch of misfits and moulded them into a great Leeds team others were able to ride his coattails and suddenly started thinking this was all their doing and were suddenly football geniuses. Glaring recruitment errors - An almost obsessive hoarding / signing of attackers while neglecting every other position and the retention and signing of dross packaged as ITK genius.

| flogging players only lasts for so long. it was impossible for the same group to do it year in year out. add to that his refusal to bring players in or have a larger squad injuries were bound to hit at some point. add to that his ridiculous marking system which saw us easily exploited and ship goals left eight and centre bielsa had to go. he was lucky he lasted so long.
the problem wasn't bielsa leaving it was who replaced him. and as you correctly said being obsessed with buying wingers

Tad, Orta and Radrizanni didn't offer Bielsa better players... they offered him Donny Van der Beek and Winks. Both terrible and expensive for what they offered. We simply could not deliver Bielsa better players than what he had and we are still paying the price on top of bringing in Marsch which was a disaster.

| bielsa could have chosen his own players. he wanted Gallagher who went to palace. according to bielsa nobody else was good enough. he had £30m to spend in January. he said he didn't want anyone. he also said dan jamess had the ability to be leeds next permanent centre forward. bielsa was supurb first 2 years but don't pretend he didn't leave the club in a mess

| I agree re Bielsa.
2 years in charge was enough and had he stayed we would be pushing to get out of the Championship.
Marsch killed us and brought in some very average players apart from Adams.
Orta messed up after sacking Gracia and not nailing a replacement having to settle for his 5th choice.
Most supporters knew we needed a goalscorer and a LB and I personally questioned Messliers ability many months before Sam dropped him.
The likes of Ayling, Bamford and Harrison all Bielsa favourites were not good enough.
We then spent 35 million on a centre forward with potential when we needed someone to hit the ground running
15 million or so would have probably got us Diaz from Blackburn.
This squad and those who run the club are washed up and changes are needed.
I would say 9 or 10 new faces needed, a good manager and more importantly a Brighton type DOF.

| Yeah part of me is praying for a miracle that's unlikely to happen and part of me just wants us to get relegated and get what we deserve. Allowing us to start again, sell most of our squad, rebuild and go back up, rather than have another relegation scrap next year with most of the same players.

invest in right manager and players, no reason we can't spend £80m on players, and we should be fine

I actually think it`s as much about the Leeds fanbase that makes other teams raise their game as the atmosphere brings out the best or should bring out the best in other teams.
Gone were the days when we were actually a big club threatening to win trophies.
I hope that if we cash in on transfers out to the tune of 80/90 million we spend that plus another 40/50 million and bring a good tactical squad together that gets us out of the Championship and can keep us in the PL before more investment will be needed.
With that sort of investment it might attract a Rodgers or Potter to the club.
