Bamford needs to be self aware in that moment, he's obviously low in confidence and sees a penalty as an easy goal as well as been able to make up for his previous penalty miss, he should have put the team first and let Rodrigo take it, a player in confidence and is good at penalties.

Rutter embodies everything that has been wrong with Leeds recruitment policy, totally neglecting the short and medium term. Southampton have done the same.

He has talent though Rutter and I think next year and seasons ahead he will come good.

some recruitment has been good but ultimately, as you say, to long term. you need experience. you need a tarkowski but he is on over 100k a week at everton. maybe thats why they are in a mess financially. as you also say let's hope nal aren't too downcast. i wouldn't like to be in forests shoes and need a win at Palace last game

The deduction won't happen this season. It'll take at least another year to fully investigate. The best we can hope for is a decent amount of compensation further down the road if we get relegated

Interesting that teams such as us, Southampton, Forrest, Leicester and Burnley looking to sue Everton for in the region of £300 million if action isn`t taken against them.
They got away with it last time citing Covid as the reason for loss of income and it will be a disgrace if they are not deducted points this season which I know will never happen.

Here`s another one for you.
A friend (yes that`s 2 I have) was speaking to an ex QPR player recently.
He does some scouting in Germany for Crystal Palace and he suggested Palace should look at Rutter but for no more than 10/12 million.
He was gobsmacked when we paid in excess of 3 times that amount.
Seems clubs saw Orta coming with some of the deals he brokered.
Might be getting backhanders. Who knows these days.
