I suspect it was a game that (not unreasonably) he fully expected to win and perhaps decided that not saying anything to the media at the point was a wise choice. I'd still have been interested to hear his thoughts though, so that was a pity.

I have to say I have. He does not generally always look at the camera during interviews after matches. As England coach and Leeds coach he was the same as I recall. I think he looks less at the camera the more unhappy with a result he is though.

He never makes much eye contact with the person he is talking to either.

All other things being equal, level with St Helens and still to play St Helens (and Wigan away.) Warrington have a solid third written all over them at the moment ...... if they don't implode.

If you've followed the thread so far you can't have failed to notice how Warrington fans don't appear to think that any losses to their likely season end contenders will have any impact when the vital games come around.

Afterall they have a pretty good record V Salford this season.

Wire have made great strides no doubt, but questions about their ability to win the big games and finish stuff off still remains.

They got the monkey off the back last year with the CC. They still have another one to shift later in the year.

Not so sure - Saints knocked out Leeds, Hudds knocked out Saints.

They will have to beat one or both in the playoffs - nobody is going to do that job for them.
