We're 9 weeks away from the semi-final and 12 weeks from the final, I think we need to relax about getting beat by anybody, when our form could (hopefully) return at some point during that stretch.

Worst possible scenario out of all this is losing.....to cas.......in the final.

That must be avoided at all costs, they'd dine out on that for the next 50 years, we'd never live it down.

If cas play their semi first and win, we should throw the game against warrington and lose.

good draw for the game, having a side in the final who hasn't been to wembley in over 20 years.

as has been said, a long time till semi finals.more than enough time to get our form back and a lot of things can happen regards injuries etc.. good draw on the face of it though IMO.

It's going to be a very tough game against the wire but as others have said form can change massively in 8 weeks and with Aiton, Burrow etc back things could be closer to our early season form than they are right now

We will have all of our currently injured players back for this game so i fancy that we will give them a far better game than we did last week at their place

Some of our best semi-final performances have come when we've been underdogs.

Hopefully we can get back to playing like we were before the magic weekend. People were talking about the double. It Could still happen but let's just make sure we knock warrington the f**ck out of the cup this year.

When was the last time we were underdogs in a semi-final? Surely must be over 12 years.

As for having all our players back. There is plenty of time for more to be injured. So it kind of works both ways.

2012 surely when we beat Wigan at Hudds. They'd put 50 past us at Headingley only a month or so before and people were talking about cricket scorelines beforehand.

You must have a different interpretation of underdog. Underdog would be defined by most, as expected to lose by the majority.

Bradford against Warrington today would be an underdog, Leigh at Leeds, and Keighley at Widnes. The one you said no way.

And we were. We were struggling in 5th place again, Wigan were 1st and had won 14 of their last 15 games and battered us with most of their forwards missing only 6 weeks earlier. The majority definitely thought a Wigan win on that day.....and most by a comfortable margin.

There's a slight conflict of interest between the competition sponsor and the stadium sponsor.

How about The Shay at Halifax? Capacity of about 14000 would ensure a full house and a good atmosphere.

We have a bit of an advantage there to be honest in terms of resting players (we also have Salford away the week before the Bradford one). Warrington vs Cas the week between the semis and final obviously stands out.

I don't think either sponsor will have the power to veto the venue choice, whether the RFL choose not use Huddersfield or Huddersfield turn down the booking based on longer term sponsor relations, is their call but I very much doubt either would. Both sponsors entered their separate sponsorship arrangements for their own reasons and I actually don't think either will care that much TBH.

I'd rather attempt to take Warrington out in the semi's than in a potential final, judging recent pastings.

Have you seen the teams warrington put out before semi's and final's? i might take my boots to france i've a decent chance of playing.

No Lancashire team in the semi, I can't think of the last time that happened.
