Jacobsan Venture Group who set up the new Company Salford RL on 11th of February have filed today for cessation as majority shareholder - that doesn't look good, I can't see this being sorted before tomorrow when they have to submit their squad

I can't see any other scenario than one in which they have to sell players. I see Blease has mentioned we still have an eye on the transfer market. Would not be at all surprised it Watkins pulled on a blue and amber shirt this season.

Jacobsan formed last year, very little other information on view. Peculiar indeed, Rowley must be seriously sick of all this uncertainty. Hard enough coaching without this fiasco. Odds on he will be rhinos coach next season, maybe this season.

They may be ticking a box for diversity they don’t really want to tick with one of their Vice Presidents.

I personally hope they can play a full strength game, so we can properly gauge where we're at. It'll be a waste of time watching a reserves side get pasted for a second week in a row (and no, I don't mean us!!). I do wonder whether Powell and Rowley play a more expansive style of rugby that BA just isn't used to, because we also struggled with Salford last year. I wouldn't be surprised if we're better with out compacted line against the sides who play a style more similar to NRL teams. Hopefully the kick up the backside last week will spur a better performance. JOC being back could give us a real boost too.

Restrictions lifted, Salford can play the full squad. Personally i’m glad even if it means facing a better team.

Leeds don't deserve an easy ride after last weeks performance. If there is no reaction after last week, it will be concerning.
