Is that correct that both Leeds and Bradford's widest winning margin at Headingley is exactly the same score (44-2). What a big coincidence.

But went for a penalty when the game looked like it may be competitive

Leeds were 0-14 down when Harris took the two on 24 minutes. The goal was a significant one as it took him to 1,000 points for Leeds as he became only the 10th player to reach that mark for the club at the time.

When Deacon kicked his goal last season at Headingley it gave Bradford the lead for the only time in the match.

My point is how often is it that Leeds or Bradford don't score a try in a game.

So tvoc, which players have more than 1,000 points for Leeds? Sinfield, Harris, Holmes, Eric Harris and Atky (basically from 3-point tries). I think I read David Creasser did as well, which surprised me.

Hanley might have done, with his amazing try scoring alone.

I don't think he scored 250 tries for us.

How long was he at Leeds - four years?

His best season was 40 tries IIRC.

You're quite right. My maths went mental and someone had him scoring 50 tries a seaons for 5 years.

Although I don't see either troubling the top eleven unless they get the kicking job away from Sinfield which is fairly unlikely unless the unthinkable happens.

I know they are from different eras, but the appearance of Eric Harris and John Atkinson in that list is laudable for the fact that as far as I'm aware neither kicked a goal for the club.

I could see Burrow doing it. In the last 4 and a half seasons he has scored 456 points (71 tries & 95 goals), its is conceivable that in 3 more seasons he could top 1000

It would get me into a fervent state of fever pitch that I would leave stains all down my trouser front.
