If the end of season review McD harps on about is done honestly
then he should walk, no question. But you can see the long list of excuses being reeled out yet again and Gawy coming out with some bolox spin about the season being some kind of triumph over adversity.

Which is fair enough mate. But you don't watch them, you are thousands of miles away. If you did, your opinion would most likely be different. So I hope you have a little understanding for those that are of that opinion.

He has shown this season that without Sinfield & Peacock , he is clueless. We are now playing very mediocre teams, and struggling to beat them.
The team have no structure, no line speed , no planned moves and last night he repeated his brainless tactic of not using 2 of our subs until the last 20 minutes. The man has lost it. The only thing that has saved him is the signing of a quality hooker., somrthing we have needed since Danny Buderas left us.
Last night against a plucky Batley team, we had pace to burn in the backs, but we did not have a clue how to use this advantage. The signings of crap players like Aichurch , Mullally , and Falloon are down to the coach, coupled with his failure to give any young forwards a
chance, despite the lack of form of experienced players.
The combination of sub standard players with a tactically inept coach can only have one outcome & and we have had to endure it all season.
Only a dramatic change of direction will prevent a repeat of this dross next season.

It has nothing to do with only attending can have an opinion. It is more to do with those that don't are more likely to be result driven, and as long as a win and a trophy along the way, al, good. You don't however put your money in your pocket and look for entertainment, hence the point made. I would put money the majority sharing your view do not attend regularly, but on the other hand those who do and season ticket holders, the majority will be the other way.

You are in Aus, you would know far more than me about the coaches and players there, and I respect that for what it is. So all I said, I would hope you would understand the opinions of others that differ from you.

I will just say for the record I flew back from Aus for the weekend for the 2015 GF to see Kev and JP one last time for Leeds. I spent more on that trip than you will on season tickets in plenty of years.

To take it back to on topic. I'm in the OUT camp purely down to the fact I think we are due a new voice in the changing room with new ideas

If you watch the game on TV you only see what the TV want you to see - that a big difference from attending a game and seeing the whole panorama of the experience. You see so much more of the game if actually go to the game.

You get people on here who listen on the radio and suggest they had a better understanding of the game than those that attended!!

That's why I would always give more credence to somebody who had bothered to attend the game than those who watch on SKY or listen to Radio Leeds.

I just think after all that's been achieved under Mac he deserves a go next year to prove all the injuries/flooding/no training base/losing sinfield JP leului and aiton were legit excuses for a freak season and that he is capable of carrying on the success of this club without sinfield and JP.

I do think we need to sign another half though to stand a chance.

Hypothetically I wonder if Mac stays and has a very successful season next year whether his haters would still be on his back.

Some were on his back from virtually the moment he began as head coach at Leeds. To those, there will be nothing he could do to change their irrational views.

brian mac will be head coach for 2017 but i believe that he must deliver a rhinos side that is challenging for all of the trophies in order to be still in the post for 2018.

i think we urgently need a quality assistant coach and one who can take control of our attacking structures and bring some flair and freedom to our back line,iestyn harris would be worth a punt imo despite his acrimonious exit years ago

Without you coming back with some sarcastic retort I'd disagree that you see more of the game. At a ground you csn be at the far end or side away from the action. How many times has someone come on here and said "I didn't see who it was but...."

When I attend a game and then watch it back I always spot plenty of stuff you miss at the game.

I'd say if you're behind the posts at an away game your view of the attack/defence when they're at the other end isn't as good.
