he did have a stinker last week but I always thought Ward would make a decent centre.im quite happy we are giving him another shot there,he surely cant be as bad and we will probably be able to say for sure after this game if he has any future in that role, as last week could have just been one of those days for him which happen to any player anytime.

At least we have options to mix it up during the game if need be with BJB on the bench or switching around with Ablett.

Can't fault Saints who showed great heart. But you win games by scoring points. Leeds had all the metres, all the ball, all the territory, but never looked a threat. Far too much one man rugby, and no end product. Saints by contrast, with limited territory and limited ball, and two fullbacks at halfback,looked much more threatening

well done to saints they hung tough like they had to,but that was brain dead rugby by us.not once did we try and bring our backs into play.watkins only saw ball off a drive in his own twenty.hate to say it because he has been a good servant but Mcguire is a shadow of the player he once was.he just seems to get in the way these days and he cant pull off that dummy and step like the old days,his pace has long gone and I just dont see what he brings to the table anymore.Burrow played well but we missed aiton's direction around the park.kicking game was also terrible.
