Kevin Sinfield is closing in on becoming only the second player to score 2000 points for Leeds.

Last week Sean Long became the second player of the SL Era to kick 100 (2 point) goals V Leeds. The first was Andy Farrell and he still tops the list on 107, 2nd is now Sean Long 100, while Paul Deacon is third on 99.

I've got mixed feelings about the 'in depth' stats promised on the new site.

On the one hand it will be good to have a resource to cross reference against (and I've always said the club should have such a resource online.)

But on the other

The discrepancies will do my crust in and fill my head with doubts that are not there at present.

I'd still stick with the tvoc infallibility.

Recognise the name/era of all the top 12 but the one I know least about is Stan Smith. When did he play for Leeds?

A bit before our time.

Stan Smith was signed from Wakefield in 1930 and played for Leeds until his retirement in 1939. In all he made 261 appearances, scoring 187 tries. He played on the opposite flank to the great Eric Harris.

I guess they were the equivalent of our Smith and Atky.

that 30s side was arguably the first great era ,but they just could not win the holy grail .

Danny McGuire now needs 7 points to move into 4th on the Leeds points scorer list of the SL Era and should his partner in crime play it will indeed be his 200th Appearance. Somewhat fitting if he plays as it will be in the same town as he made his full debut in Daryl Powell's first game in charge.

It's been a while but Danny McGuire has finally got the points he needed to move up to fourth on the Leeds point scoring list of the SL Era.

Keith Senior now needs two tries to become the second Leeds player to pass 150 tries for the club in the SL Era. Danny McGuire tops the list at present with 153.

Jamie Peacock needs to make two more appearances to join the Leeds 100 club. When it happens he will become the 26th player to reach the mark.
