I don't think hit up sets and a kick, tight play offs football is something Wigan do well! in previous seasons it hasn't gone well. And against the bulls when you tried to shut em out you feel appart! I didn't say the team can't do it I've just not seen it yet.

and agree re Catalan but they were always chasing the scoreboard. we amassed our Lead that they couldnt catch whilst bird was on the field.

What he was trying to say is that the Wigan team vs Cas wasnt in-form, it was a lathargic performance with just enough effort put in to win the game with relative comfort. If the game was closer or it was against a better team no way would Wigan concede soft tries like that.

Bigging up or dismissing a teams championship chances in March would seem to be tempting a big fat slapping come the middle of October.

Leeds fans should be wary of assuming that a record breaking 3 wins in a row means anything to anyone else competing against us, and fans of other teams who have begun frequenting our board to talk themselves up should observe the lack of Saints posters willing to join in. At least those guys are showing common sense. I wonder why?

If I were a Wigan fan (apart from the fact that I would be massively dissapointed with how my life had turned out), I would be thinking no matter how well we may have played a couple of times this year, we still haven't won a Championship since 1998 and managed to lose a 20 point lead to one of the worst Bradford sides ever to play in SL. That would have me worried. But you never know, after all there's only 6 months of the season left so we are nearly there.

It may have escaped you that it was not a Wigan fan that started bigging up their chances, it was a newspaper article. And as for being beaten by the worst Bradford side in SL, I'm sure a certain Leeds team got beat by a worse team (Salford) at home last season, or did I imagine it?

No Wigan fans I know are getting carried away, lets have a look after Easter Monday (10 Games) and then after 20 games to see how things are. It's a long season and there will be changes but just let me say I'm happy with the way things have gone so far in comparison to last season when we lost 5 of our first 7 games.

Its a massive task to win it from 8th, even anything outside the top 2 takes some doing as history has shown. Im sure the Wigan team under Maguire will only be focusing on Leeds on Friday and not some journalist.

So your mate goes over to Wigan every other weekend asks all and sundry are you going to win the lot, and the majority say yes, yet all the fans on the RL fans have their feet firmly on the ground. I know who I believe, and it's not your mate.

Who said Wigan are in form? We are top of the league and have put together some impressive spells during games but we are far from stringing 80 minutes together, i guess that is a worry for the rest of the league.

The only people getting carried away with the way Wigan are playing are the media and opposition fans like you. Wigan vs Cas were fairly average, they just upped the game when they had to to put the game beyond doubt then dropped off again.

I do not for one minute think any team is playing at the top of their game so to criticise Wigan for letting in tries once they had one the game and say its not championship winning/play off rugby is a bit random given we are so early into the season

I would worry about my own teams performances since the start of the season, even before the injuries, rather than Wigans chance of winning the comp
