Quote ="BrisbaneRhino"Oliver Morris died in WW2, as did another Leeds player called Toothill. There may be other Leeds players as well - the Ken Dalby books may be the best source to look.'"
Sadly the first volume of The Headingley Story that covers formation and through the First World War is vague about those players never to play again.
The information about Billy Jarman came from Phil Caplan / Peter Smith's book '100 Leeds Rugby League Club Greats' which is about 12 years old now.
The club do make a point about commemorating both Les Adams and Oliver Morris every November, it is just there are First World War loss(es) to remember too at this time.
