When the inevitable end comes and the Bulls are no more, it will be a sad day. To see this once great club brought to its knees should sadden RL fans. It will be tough for the coaches, the players, admin staff and especially the loyal fans, who share no responsibility for the mess the club finds itself in. I hope that the majority of Bulls fans and the wider RL community will see that the serial poor management of the business is at the root of the current crisis. I fear however that for some, the "Harris affair" will ensure that Leeds are in the splash zone for some of the blame, which in my opinion is totally unfair but will doubtless bring comfort to some.

I feel bad for the players and all the staff.

Yes it's bad for the fans, but they pay their money and it's something they do in their spare time. For the players and staff this is how they earn their living, there will be players and staff with houses to pay for and kids to feed and to not know whether they'll even have a job next week is terrible.

Indeed.

If the Bulls' last few years have taught us anything, it's that trying to buy your way to lower-mid table isn't sustainable in the long term.

Interestingly Mr Caisley was involved with the Harris debacle and yet he will probably take over the club within a week. Plus ca change?
